The Reds take on Spanish opponents while on tour to the United States.
Liverpool are preparing for the upcoming season. But it’s not like any other season. For the first time in nearly a decade, the club are functioning without the meticulous figure of Jürgen Klopp. Klopp had announced at the start of the year that he would step down as the Reds’ manager by the end of the 2023-24 season. The departure obviously was very emotional for the fans and the players alike.
Arne Slot has taken over the responsibilities from the German coach. This summer, the Reds parted ways with several players including goalkeeper Adrián. The Spanish keeper now could be seen in action against his former employers in this upcoming pre-season friendly.
Adrián had joined the Spanish side Real Betis. The LaLiga outfit are all set to compete with the English giants tomorrow morning. The team led by Manuel Pellegrini on the touchlines last played against Austria Salzburg. In the friendly which was played out at the MyPhone Austria Stadion, Pellegrini’s men outshone their opponents by a mile, ending up with a 5-1 win.
After this fixture against Real Betis, Liverpool have some familiar opponents to take care of – Arsenal and Manchester United.

The English side Liverpool led by Dutch boss Arne Slot will be playing their pre-season game against the Spanish team in the United States. The early morning clash will be played out at the Acrisure Stadium. The stadium is located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
This should be an amazing venue for this amazing fixture. However, in the Reds camp, Andy Robertson who is travelling with the squad won’t be available. The full-back is still nursing his injury which occurred in the Euro 2024 tournament.
